Love Hate Relationship With Rumours

I love rumours sometimes just because it gives you that small bit of excitement inside that something is stirring...especially when the rumour is in the adoption world.  I read a little tidbit that got me a hair excited and makes me want to hang on just a little longer just to see if it will really come true...the likely hood is not and I know that way deep down inside but I like to play this nasty little game of let down once in awhile.  You want to know the rumour I read?  Okay here it is:  A Canadian agency told one of their clients that it would take approx. 16 months for China to refer up to May 2007 (they are currently on May 2006), then after that the amount of days referred would go back up to about 3 weeks (currently they are referring 3-5 days a month).  Isn't that just a lovely little bit of rumour...keeps you wondering what is around the corner for the China program.  The other thing I heard of late was that someone who was currently paper chasing to enter the China program this year was told that their wait would be 4 years...I don't really think that is correct at all seeing as we don't have a hope of seeing ours in that time frame.  Our agency is saying that based on the average of  5days a month being referred...the groups up to 274 may have their referrals in 2012...we are group 315...YIKES that means we still have a long wait ahead of us...I am so praying for a little speed up!
